20 childcare grants for clinician mothers for #givingtuesday

Help us provide childcare to nurses and clinician moms this #GivingTuesday! We have a generous group of donors matching TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS in donations to Zorya Foundation’s Mothers in Medicine Fund through Friday, December 2, 2022.

Our incredible match pool this year includes Natanya Wachtel, PhD., founder and CSO of New Solutions Network, Amanda Duke, Chief Revenue Officer at CareRev, Kary Nulisch and the team at Castlemark Consulting, Beth Minter, PhD, Chief Hustler at Franklin-Belle, Miriam Paramore, senior advisor at Goldman Sachs and Sixth Street and Leslie Kirk and me from Innsena.

All donations received this #GivingTuesday, and through end of day THIS FRIDAY, will be used to provide childcare grants to clinician mothers.

Zorya Foundation is a trust-based philanthropy and grants are a flat $1,000, covering approximately one month of childcare for one child. Help us meet our match, allowing us to provide childcare grants to 20 clinician moms this week and heading into the holiday season.

Through our Mothers in Medicine fund we support nurses, CNAs, medical assistants, respiratory therapists, nurse practioners, socialworkers, residents, physicians and more—a mother working in any clinical role.

We’re facing a severe nurse and clinician shortage across the country. Coupled with a massive increase in RSV, Covid and influenza cases, we’re seeing increased demand for clinician mothers needing support to help their own families so they can continue to work and care for all of us.

We’ve been fortunate to provide numerous cash childcare grants for women across various clinical roles this year. We’re also grateful that with our community support we established our Support Fund and Opportunities Fund this year, allowing us to provide direct cash support to women pursuing professional advancement, and to partner with organizations like HLTH and Civitas Networks for Health.
