Support for clinician mothers working in Nevada.

We are grateful for the support of UnitedHealthcare Health Plan of Nevada Medicaid. Because of this organization’s generous gift, we are providing forty-five $1,000 childcare grants to clinician mothers working in the state of Nevada. This program benefits clinician mothers working in Clark County and Washoe County healthcare clinics. Applications across all clinical settings will be accepted but outreach efforts will focus on mothers working in FQHCs. Grants will be distributed based on need until funds are depleted.

We believe access to childcare is a social determinant of health. Our Mothers in Medicine fund exists to provide cash grants to mothers working in clinical roles, so that they can work knowing their children are receiving quality care. The fund is a part of the Zorya Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to creating opportunities for women in healthcare.
